The development direction of domestic precision casting industry was analyzed, and the advantages and disadvantages of current shell making process of precision casting were compared. A new type of energy-saving adhesive for precision casting, ZF-801 fast drying silica sol, was put forward. Silica sol precision casting through the analysis of ZF-801 fast drying silica sol shell shell making time, casting dimensional accuracy, surface quality, room temperature strength, high temperature strength, residual strength and other excellent performance, it is concluded that ZF-801 fast drying silica sol shell is a new generation of precision casting shell special binder that meets the requirements of less pollutants discharge and moderate cost.
In the 1960s, silica sol began to be applied in the field of casting, mainly as a binder. Silica sol precision casting has been widely used in the casting industry because of its simple preparation process, low pollution and low cost. At present, silica sol is often used as a binder in investment precision casting, which can ensure the quality of investment precision casting. In this paper, the characteristics, characteristics and classification of silica sol are discussed, and the application of silica sol in investment precision casting is discussed.
The master alloy ingot used in the silica sol precision casting vacuum furnace is the alloy with high active metal content such as titanium, stainless steel precision casting aluminum, which is melted in vacuum, and the content of various components is precisely adjusted to cast ingots.
